Abstract (en)
The device for heating the edges of glass panes, to which prefabricated spacing elements are to be attached, comprises a lateral support (1) for the glass panes, and a linear conveyor (2) which is provided at the bottom edge of the support (1) and is formed, for example, by a row of conveying rollers (3). Also provided are two horizontally aligned, elongate heating elements (5, 6) which are assigned to the horizontal edges of the glass pane. Of the said heating elements (5, 6), one (5) is arranged so as to be moveable up and down immediately above the linear conveyor (2) and the other (6) to be moveable up and down along the lateral support (1) (arrow 18). The two horizontal heating elements (5, 6) are fixed to carriers (7, 8) which can be swivelled about horizontal axes (9, 10), so that the heating elements (5, 6) can be swivelled out of their active position associated with the glass pane. Finally, an elongate (5), essentially vertically aligned heating device (14) is provided, which is arranged next to the vertical edge (13) on the outlet side of the lateral support (1) and has two mutually facing heating elements (15, 16). <IMAGE>

Eine Vorrichtung zum Anwärmen des Randbereiches von Glastafeln, auf die vorgefertigte Abstandhalter anzusetzen sind, besitzt eine seitliche Abstützung (1) für die Glastafeln und einen am unteren Rand der Abstützung (1) vorgesehenen Linearförderer (2), der beispielsweise durch eine Reihe von Förderrollen (3) gebildet ist. Weiters sind zwei horizontal ausgerichtete, den horizontalen Randbereichen der Glastafel zugeordnete, langgestreckte Heizelemente (5, 6) vorgesehen. Von den horizontal ausgerichteten Heizelementen (5, 6) ist eines (5) unmittelbar oberhalb des Linearförderers (2) und das andere (6) entlang der seitlichen Abstützung (1) auf- und abbewegbar (Pfeil 18) angeordnet. Beide horizontalen Heizelemente (5, 6) sind an Trägern (7, 8) befestigt, die um horizontale Achsen (9, 10) verschwenkbar sind, so daß die Heizelemente (5, 6) aus ihrer der Glastafel zugeordneten Wirklage ausschwenkbar sind. Schließlich ist eine langgestreckte (5), im wesentlichen vertikal ausgerichtete Heizvorrichtung (14) vorgesehen, die neben dem auslaufseitigen, vertikalen Rand (13) der seitlichen Abstützung (1) vorgesehen ist und zwei einander zugekehrte Heizelemente (15, 16) aufweist.
