[origin: FR2613586A1] The device consists essentially of a revolving disc (6) having on its front face articulated arms (7) which are brought together by cams (11) and springs (12), each arm being provided with a half shell (38) configured with the cervical bones of the head; a freely rotating longitudinal clamping device (15) configured with the muzzle; an articulated jack (5) having a hook (13) at the end of its rod for tearing off the lower jaw; and a mechanical cleaving device supported on a movable arm (21). The two halves obtained by cleavage are separated by the penetration of a slide-block (9) provided with rollers (10) between the driving cams (11) of the articulated arms (7).

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de désossage de têtes d'animaux. Le dispositif est constitué essentiellement d'une platine tournante (6) comportant, sur sa face avant, des bras articulés (7), rappelés l'un vers l'autre par des cames (11) et des ressorts (12), munis chacun d'une demi-coquille (38) épousant la forme d'un des os cervicaux de la tête; d'un dispositif de serrage longitudinal (15), libre en rotation, épousant la forme du groin; d'un vérin articulé (5) dont l'extrémité de la tige est équipée d'un crochet (13) destiné à l'arrachage de la mâchoire inférieure et d'un dispositif de fendage mécanique supporté par un bras orientable (21). L'écartement des deux demi-parties résultant du fendage est obtenu par pénétration d'un coulisseau (9) muni des galets (10) entre les cames (11) de manoeuvre des bras articulés (7).
