[origin: WO8808607A1] A magnetic recorder which uses magnetic cards comprises means for displacing a card-holder carriage (1) which are adapted to ensure automatic addressing of the card with respect to a magnetic head (3) along either of the two opposite directions of its axis of displacement and a guiding system (2) for the magnetic head extending beyond the area of displacement of the said card (4) for releasing the edge of the magnetic head and locking it in this position. The invention is applicable to magnetic recorders which use magnetic cards having visible data on one face and rectilinear, equidistant tracks on the other face.

L'invention concerne un magnétophone du type utilisant des cartes magnétiques. Il comporte des moyens de déplacement d'un chariot porte-carte (1) adaptés pour assurer son adressage automatique par rapport à une tête magnétique (3) suivant l'un quelconque des deux sens opposés de son axe de déplacement ainsi qu'un système de guidage (2) de la tête magnétique étendu au-delà de la zone de déplacement de ladite carte (4) pour le dégagement latéral de la tête magnétique et son verrouillage dans cette position. Application aux magnétophones du type utilisant des cartes magnétiques portant sur une face des informations visibles et sur l'autre face des pistes magnétiques rectilignes et équidistantes.
