A squeegee (3) for the application of application material such as optionally foamable substances of different viscosities, coating materials, paints, adhesives, pastes or the like onto an application surface, having at least one squeegee capable of being pressed such as a coating squeegee or a roller squeegee (302) is universally applicable and has a compact form of construction, the result of application being capable of adjustment, without exchange of components, over a broad range or very finely and, in particular, and of being modified in a continuous, precise and well-defined manner even during operation of a squeegee machine. To this end, the squeegee (3) is constructed as a profile element (30) which is capable of swivelling about a longitudinal axis (320) determined by the extension of the squeegee and carries the squeegee (302). <IMAGE>

Ein Rakelgerät (3) zum Auftragen von Auftragsmaterial wie ggf. schäumbaren Substanzen unterschiedlicher Viskosität, Beschichtungsstoffen, Lacken, Klebern, Pasten od.dgl. auf eine Auftragsfläche mit mindestens einer anpreßbaren Rakel wie einer Streichrakel oder Rollrakel (302) soll bei kompakter Bauweise universell verwendbar sein, wobei das Auftragungsergebnis ohne Austausch von Teilen in großem Maß oder sehr feinwirkend einstellbar und insbesondere auch während eines Rakel-Maschinenbetriebes kontinuierlich, genau und definiert veränderbar sein soll. Zu diesem Zweck ist das Rakelgerät (3) als ein um eine durch die Rakelerstreckung bestimmte Längsachse (320) schwenkbewegliches Profilelement (30) ausgebildet, in dem die Rakel (302) getragen ist.
