In a cutter (1) with external drive, oscillations are produced with the aid of an eccentric (17, 18, 19, 20, 41, 42) by means of a gearing arranged in a handle (2), and a swordlike knife back (3), fixed to the handle (2), for receiving and guiding at least one cutting blade (4, 5). The knife is thus able to cut especially meat in a variety of ways. It can be used to bone, carve, fillet, skin and the like without physical effort. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Schneidgerät (1) mit Fremdkraftantrieb werden durch ein in einem Handgriff (2) angeordnetes Getriebe und einen am Handgriff (2) befestigten, schwertförmigen Messerrücken (3) zur Aufnahme und Führung mindestens einer Schneidklinge (4, 5) mit Hilfe eines Exzenters (17, 18, 19, 20, 41, 42) oszillierende Schwingungen erzeugt. Das Messer ist dadurch in der Lage, insbesondere Fleisch vielseitig zu bearbeiten. Es kann zum Ausbeinen, Zerlegen, Filletieren, Enthäuten und dergleichen ohne körperlichen Kraftaufwand eingesetzt werden.
