Refrigeration compressors for refrigeration plants must not after manufacture exceed a given residual moisture content, because residual water in the refrigeration plant leads to operational faults. Thus far, they have been dried in a costly manner. A simplified and automatically operable drying plant is provided with a conveyor with devices for receiving the casings in a defined position. The conveyor is assigned a station, in which the winding of the motors is supplied with an electric voltage. In this connection, motor winding and casing are heated. The air present in the casing is drawn off by vacuum. The residual moisture is thus low. Drying plants of this type are particularly suitable for the automatic drying of refrigeration compressors. <IMAGE>

Kältekompressoren für Kälteanlagen dürfen nach ihrer Herstellung einen bestimmten Restfeuchtegehalt nicht überschreiten, weil Restwasser in der Kälteanlage zu Betriebsstörungen führt. Eine automatisch durchführbare Trocknungsanlage wird mit einem Förderer (1) mit Einrichtungen (2, 3) zur Aufnahme der Gehäuse (4) in einer definierten Stellung versehen. Dem Förderer (1) wird eine Station (5, 6', 6'', 6''', 6'''') zugeordnet, an der die Wicklung der Motoren mit einer elektrischen Spannung versorgt wird. Motorwicklung und Gehäuse heizen sich dabei auf. Die im Gehäuse (4) vorhandene Luft wird durch Vakuum abgesaugt. Die Restfeuchte ist auf diese Weise gering. Trocknungsanlagen dieser Art eignen sich insbesondere zur automatischen Trocknung von Kältekompressoren.
