Abstract (en)
The flat image display device, which is sealed in a vacuum, has a front plate (1) of glass, and a metal trough (2) as the rear side. On the inside of the front plate (1), there is a layer of fluorescent spots (3) and the electrodes required for use of the image display device are located inside the trough (2). These electrodes, i.e. a periodic arrangement of heating wires (4), a segmented opposing electrode (5) on a base plate (10), a perforated accelerating anode (6) inside a frame (11) and a control arrangement (7), are mechanically assembled into one component. In consequence, a stable construction for the electrodes is achieved which at the same time allows simple production of the flat image display device. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die unter Vakuum abgeschlossene flache Bildwiedergabevorrichtung weist eine Frontplatte (1) aus Glas und eine metallene Wanne (2) als Rückseite auf. Auf der Innenseite der Frontplatte (1) ist eine Schicht aus Leuchtstoffpunkten (3) und innerhalb der Wanne (2) sind die für den Betrieb der Bildwiedergabevorrichtung erforderlichen Elektroden vorhanden. Diese Elektroden, d.h. eine periodische Anordnung von Heizdrähten (4), eine segmentierte Gegenelektrode (5) auf einer Grundplatte (10), innerhalb eines Rahmens (11) eine gelochte Zuganode (6) und eine Steueranordnung (7), sind mechanisch zu einem Bauteil zusammengefaßt. Hierdurch wird ein stabiler Aufbau für die Elektroden erreicht, der gleichzeitig eine einfache Fertigung der flachen Bildwiedergabevorrichtung gestattet.
