This concerns a connector which, in a body (10) made of an insulating material, comprises, in cooperation with a barrel (12) suitable for forcing an electrical conductor therein, a contact component (11) whose two lips (L1, L2) circularly form a slot (F) for this purpose. <??>According to the invention, the lips (L1, L2) of the contact component (11) each belong respectively to two shells (C1, C2), at least one of which, the shell (C2), is extended as a circumferential projection, is elastically deformable about its root generatrix and, at least when not in use, there remains a peripheral clearance (J) between this shell and the body (10) made of an insulating material. <??>Application to self-stripping connectors for electrical conductors. <IMAGE>

Il s'agit d'un connecteur qui, dans un corps en matière isolante (10), comporte, en coopération avec un barillet (12) propre à y forcer un conducteur électrique, un organe de contact (11) dont deux lèvres (L1, L2) forment circulairement à cet effet une fente (F). Suivant l'invention, les lèvres (L1, L2) de l'organe de contact (11) appartiennent chacune respectivement à deux coquilles (C1, C2) dont une au moins, la coquille (C2), s'étend circonférentiellement en porte-à-faux et est élastiquement déformable autour de sa génératrice racine, et, au moins au repos, il subsiste périphériquement, entre elle et le corps en matière isolante (10), un jeu (J). Application aux connecteurs auto-dénudants pour conducteurs électriques.
