[origin: WO8808329A1] In a method for preparing a low acidity refractory oxide-bound zeolite catalyst, there is provided a substantially homogenous mixture of zeolite, water and a low acidity refractory oxide binder containing at least an extrusion-facilitating amount of said binder in a colloidal state to provide an extrudable mass, the mixture being substantially free of added alkali metal base and/or basic salt. The extrudable mass is then extruded, dried and calcined to produce a product of similar crush strength to an alumina-bound material.

Dans un procédé de préparation d'un catalyseur à zéolithe lié avec un oxyde réfractaire de faible acidité, on réalise un mélange sensiblement homogène de zéolithe, d'eau et d'un liant d'oxyde réfractaire à faible acidité, contenant au moins une quantité facilitant l'extrusion dudit liant à l'état colloïdal pour offrir une masse extrudable, le mélange étant sensiblement exempt de base de métal alkalin ajoutée et/ou de sel basique. La masse extrudable est ensuite extrudée, séchée et calcinée pour produire un matériau d'une résistance à l'écrasement similaire à celle d'un matériau contenant de l'alumine à titre de liant.
