[origin: EP0312638A1] The back-layer coating is composed of a terpolymer latex of styrene/butadiene/methacrylate, a hard silica and an aqueous solution of the sodium salt of an organic polybasic acid. The quantities of these substances are selected such that optimum results are obtained with respect to imprintability, inscribability with pencils, low fouling in spent developer baths, low discoloration in the developer, good gluing adhesion and antistatic properties.
