[origin: EP0312707A1] Stable highly-concentrated solutions of colour formers in alkylaromatic hydrocarbons may be manufactured by dissolving the colour former or the mixture of colour formers to the desired concentration in the alkylaromatic hydrocarbon at a temperature in the range between 65 DEG C and the boiling point of the alkylaromatic hydrocarbon or, if it is lower, the decomposition temperature of the colour former, and cooling the solution to ambient temperature.
