Sliding door with a guide rail (1) determining the scope of movement of the door leaf (2) and to be mounted at a fixed location, and with a series of rollers (5-5) which are preferably designed as coaxial pairs and which are arranged as supporting connection elements between the guide rail (1) and the door leaf (2). Whilst at the same time ensuring a substantially simpler and more cost-effective production, the sliding door is so designed for the purpose of an exact low-vibration running property that the rollers (5, 5') or pairs of rollers are mounted fixedly on the guide rail (1) in a mutually aligned arrangement in the longitudinal direction, and that the door leaf (2) has a running-rail device (9-9') which rests supportively, with its running face (12; 12') directed downwards in the operating position, on the rolling faces of the rollers (5, 5') of the door leaf (2). <IMAGE>

Schiebetor mit einer die Bewegungsstrecke des Torblattes (2) bestimmenden, ortsfest anzubringenden Führungsschiene (1) und einer Reihe von - vorzugsweise als koaxiale Paare - ausgebildeten Rollen (5-5), die als tragende Verbindungselemente zwischen der Führungsschiene (1) und dem Torblatt (2) angeordnet sind, und das bei wesentlich einfacherer und kostengünstigerer Herstellung zum Zwecke einer exakten schwingungsarmen Laufeigenschaft derart ausgebildet ist, daß die Rollen (5, 5') bzw. Paare von Rollen in fluchtender Anordnung in Längsrichtung der Führungsschiene (1) an dieser fest gelagert sind und daß das Torblatt (2) eine Laufschieneneinrichtung (9-9') aufweist, die mit in der Betriebsstellung nach unten gerichteter Lauffläche (12; 12') auf den Abrollflächen der Rollen (5, 5') des Torblattes (2) tragend aufliegt.
