[origin: EP0312857A1] A housing (11) accommodates a quartz-controlled clock mechanism (15) with a display (16, 17) covered by a viewing window (14) and with at least one contact (18) which has control functions and can be actuated through the base (13) of the housing (11), for example by means of a push-button (19) passing through the base. In order to facilitate actuation of the contact (18), the housing (11) is mounted in a container (21) to be displaceable against the action of the spring, so that pressure on the viewing window (14) actuates the push- button (19) and hence the contact (18). <IMAGE>
