Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH01134893A] PURPOSE: To detect the completion time of a thawing cycle by depositing a microwave energy absorbing material on a carrier at the back of a thawed object to prevent almost all area of a detecting part from being directly exposed to the microwave from a microwave source. CONSTITUTION: A detector 30 is disposed under an object to be thawed. A microwave source 42 generates the microwave toward the detector 30. When the object is frozen, the microwave penetrates the object and reaches the detector. The refrigerated object absorbs the microwave. The result of temperature measurement by the detector 30 is transmitted to a calculation and control apparatus 43 to track the temperature change of the object and detect a process time of refrigerating cycle, so that the operation of a microwave oven is controlled.

Four à micro-ondes comprenant une source micro-onde et un capteur placé dans le four à proximité d'un produit à traiter, le capteur comprenant une substance qui absorbe l'énergie micro-onde, l'absorption de l'énergie micro-onde par le capteur et par le produit provoquant leur élévation de température, la température du capteur étant mesurée par un organe de mesure. Le capteur contrôle la décongélation d'un produit à décongeler et pour cela la substance, qui absorbe l'énergie micro-onde, est déposée en couches sur un support qui est placé après le produit à décongeler afin qu'une grande partie de la surface du capteur ne soit pas en vue directe de la source micro-onde. Le support peut être une des parois de la cavité du four. La substance peut être une encre déposée par sérigraphie sur la sole du four. application : four à micro-ondes
