Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0313294A2] Individual raw document forms (D) are picked selectively from any of a plurality of stacks (S1, S2, S3) to be recorded then assembled as a pack (PK). The stacks (S1, S2, S3), in canisters (10, 12, 14), are aligned on ramps with access to the forward document (D) in each stack (S1-S3). A movable carriage or shuttle (16) is commanded to align with a desired stack (S) where the forward document form (D) is grasped and removed. After picking selected documents (D), the shuttle (16) transports them individually to a feed mechanism (24) for delivery to a processor (P, 22) for magnetic recording and printing. A predetermined set of completed documents are then gathered and bound as an individualized pack (PK), as in the form of an airline ticket.
