The device for mounting flexographic printing plates with the aid of double-sided adhesive tape onto a printing cylinder with a gear wheel which is mounted in a seating 4 features a drive 6 for the seating 4 which is capable of being moved over a mounting suface 7 of a mounting table 10 carrying the printing side of the printing plate 9, the gear wheel 2 of the printing cylinder 1 engaging with a toothed rack on the mounting table. In the mounting surface 7 there are mounting grooves 15, 16, 17 running parallel and vertically to the axis of the printing cylinder 1 for the reception of mounting bars 11, l2 provided with register pins 14 corresponding to recessed holes in the printing plate.The mounting surface 7 is provided with a multiplicity of first vacuum openings 18 connectable to a vacuum source, the holes being capable of isolation from the vacuum source in rows parallel to the axis of the printing cylinder and dependent on its movement over the mounting surface. In this way, it is possible to fasten the printing plates to the printing cylinder precisely and securely and, in particular, to arrange the printing plates for the individual colours for producing a coloured image so exactly that a correspondingly exact printing is achieved, i.e. the arrangement is reproducible. <IMAGE>

Die Vorrichtung zur Montage von Flexo-Klischees mit Hilfe eines doppelseiten Klebebandes auf einem Druckzylinder mit Zahnrad, der in einer Aufnahme 4 gelagert ist, weist für die Aufnahme 4 einen Antrieb 6 auf, der über eine die Druckseite des Klischees 9 tragende Montagefläche 7 eines Montagetisches 10 verfahrbar ist, wobei das Zahnrad 2 des Druckzylinders 1 mit einer Zahnstange auf dem Montagetisch im Eingriff steht. In der Montagefläche 7 sind parallel und senkrecht zur Achse des Druckzylinders 1 verlaufende Montagenuten 15, 16, 17 zur Aufnahme von Montageleisten 11,12 mit den Lochstanzungen im Klischee entsprechenden Paßstiften 14 vorgesehen. Die Montagefläche 7 ist mit einer Vielzahl an eine Vakuumquelle anschließbaren ersten Vakuumöffnungen 18 versehen, die in Reihen parallel zur Achse des Druckzylinders in Abhängigkeit von seiner Bewegung über die Montagefläche von der Vakuumquelle trennbar sind. Hierdurch ist es möglich, die Klischees genau und sicher auf dem Druckzylinder zu befestigen und insbesondere die Klischees der einzelnen Farben zur Erzeugung eines Farbdruckbildes so genau anzuordnen, daß ein entsprechend exakter Druck erfolgt, d.h. die Anordnung erfolgt reproduzierbar.
