The clamping device, in particular toggle lever clamping device, is intended for fixing work pieces and consists of an actuating cylinder (3) with a head piece (23) placed in front on the side of the piston rod, on and in which head piece the adjusting mechanism for the clamping arm (24) articulated on the head piece is arranged, and furthermore of two pressure medium supply lines and end-position sensors with connection lines. Die Spannvorrichtung, insbesondere Kniehebelspannvorrichtung ist für die Fixierung von Werkstücken bestimmt und besteht aus einem Betätigungszylinder (3) mit kolbenstangenseitig vorgesetztem Kopfstück (23), an und in dem die Stellmechanik für den am Kopfstück angelenkten Spannarm (24) angeordnet ist und ferner aus zwei Druckmediumszufuhrleitungen und Endstellengssensoren mit Anschlußleitungen. Am freien Ende (1) der Kolbenstange (2) ist parallel zu dieser und in Richtung des Betätigungszylinders (3) weisend eine am freien Ende mit Stellungsgebern (4) versehene Stellstange (5) angeordnet. Der Stellweg (W) der Stellungsgeber (4) erstreckt sich im Bereich des Betätigungszylinders (3). Im Bereich des Stellweges (W) sind mindestens zwei Endstellungssensoren (6, 6') angeordnet. Die beiden Druckmediumszufuhranschlüsse (7, 8) sind am freien Ende (9) des Betätigungszylinders (3) und die Leitungsabgänge (10) der Endstellungssensoren (6) sind ebenfalls in axialer Richtung zur Längsachse (11) des Betätigungszylinders (3) abgehend am freien Ende (9) des Betätigungszylinders (3) angeordnet.
