[origin: EP0313977A2] A stand for test tubes, sample tubes or the like is formed by a block or cylinder having a recess (2) which is open at the top. The lateral surfaces (3) of the block or cylinder are provided with a clamping aperture (4) extending perpendicularly to that surface and clamping projections (5) which likewise extend perpendicularly to that lateral surface.
