Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0314052A1] Water penetrating through leakage points in a glazed roof is to be caught and carried off not in appropriately shaped profiles (1, 2) of the supporting structure, but in an elastic distance profile (3) laid between these profiles (1, 2) and the glass panes (15). For this purpose, the distance profile (3) is divided below its bearing surfaces (6) into a lower (4) and an upper layer (5), and extending parallel to the bearing surface (6) is a projection (7), which is adjoined, in a variant (3a) of the distance profile (3) for the rafters (1), by the lower layer (4) and, in a variant (3b) of the distance profile (3) for the purlins (2), by the upper layer (5). This makes it possible, at the junctions of the purlins (2) with the rafters (1), to cut out or cut off the distance profiles (3) in such a way that they can be laid in an overlapping arrangement and the distance profile (3b) on the purlin (2) forms a conduit leading into the distance profile (3a) on the rafter (1). The distance profile (3) laid on the rafters (1) extends continuously from top to bottom and also beyond the bottom edge of the roof. <IMAGE>
