A ratchet wrench, having a sprocket which is able to rotate in only one direction in a jaw-type wrench head by way of a ratchet mechanism and exhibits jaws, possesses a pair of movable engaging members which engage in two regions, spaced apart and thereby bridging the gap between the jaws, of a rotating ring arranged on the sprocket and which, when moved, cause a rotation of the sprocket counter to the locking action of the ratchet mechanism. The engaging members and the rotating ring are preferably constructed as pawls/pawl toothing or as toothed wheels. This facilitates the rotation of the sprocket, necessary for removing the ratchet wrench from screw connections whose threaded ends are not free, until the jaws of the sprocket and the jaws of the wrench head are located one above the other and the tool can be removed radially. <IMAGE>

Ein Ratschenschlüssel mit in einem maulförmigen Schlüsselkopf (2) durch ein Klinkengesperre in nur einer Richtung drehbaren, ein Maul (4) aufweisenden Nuß (3) besitzt ein Paar bewegbarer Eingriffsglieder, die in zwei einen Abstand aufweisende und dadurch die Maullücke überbrückende Bereiche eines an der Nuß angeordneten Drehkranzes eingreifen und die beim Bewegen ein Drehen der Nuß entgegen der Sperrwirkung des Gesperres bewirken. Die Eingriffsglieder und der Drehkranz sind vorzugsweise als Klinken/Klinkenverzahnung oder als Zahnräder ausgebildet. Dies erleichtert das zum Abziehen des Ratschenschlüssel von Verschraubungen, deren Gewindeenden nicht frei sind, erforderliche Verdrehen der Nuß, bis das Maul der Nuß (4) und das Maul des Schlüsselkopfes (6) übereinander stehen und das Werkzeug radial abgezogen werden kann.
