[origin: WO8800445A1] A hair curler with means for receiving and winding hair strands has a body (1) composed of two parts (2, 3) hinged together and at least one foil attached thereto. For permanent waving of the initial part of the hairs only, protective foils (3, 4), impervious to the waving liquid, are fixed to each part of the hair curler. The foils extend a considerable distance transversaly to the length of the hair curler body.

Un bigoudi ayant des moyens pour recevoir et enrouler des mèches de cheveux comprend un corps (1) composé de deux parties (2, 3) reliées par une articulation et au moins une pellicule attachée à celui-ci. Pour faire une permanente uniquement de la partie initiale des cheveux, une pellicule protectrice (3, 4) imperméable au liquide pour permanente est fixée à chaque partie du corps du bigoudi. Ces pellicules protectrices s'étendent sur une longueur du corps du bigoudi.
