Kreuzstrom-Wärmetauscherkörper aus einem Stapel verbundener, parallel durchströmbarer Stegplatten (1) und je einer quer dazu durchströmbaren Hohlkammer (5) zwischen jeweils zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Stegplatten (1), wobei die Deckschichten (2, 2') von jeweils aufeinanderfolgenden Stegplatten (1) an ihren Enden über die dazwischen eingeschlossene Hohlkammer (5) hinweg gegeneinander geneigt und über die ganze Breite dicht miteinander verbunden sind.
