In a burner-heated apparatus with a heat exchanger (3) which is arranged in the waste gas guide (2) of the burner (1), which leads to a chimney (5) or similar waste gas take-off, and is flowed through by the waste gases of this burner (1), a portion, which can be selected as required, of the waste gases from the combustion chamber (8) is conducted directly into the chimney (5) or similar waste gas installation, in order that the temperature there is not allowed to fall below the dew point and as a result the formation of condensate is prevented. The size of this waste gas portion to be conducted off directly into the chimney (5) or similar can be defined from case to case taking the respective local conditions into consideration. Bei einem brennerbeheizten Gerät mit einem in der zu einem Kamin (5) od.dgl. Abgasabzug führenden Abgasführung (2) des Brenners (1) angeordneten, von den Abgasen dieses Brenners (1) durchströmten Wärmetauscher (3) wird ein bedarfsweise wählbarer Anteil der Abgase aus dem Brennraum (8) unmittelbar in den Kamin (5) od.dgl. Abgasanlage geleitet, um die Temperatur dort nicht unterhalb des Taupunktes absinken zu lassen und dadurch die Ausbildung von Kondensat zu verhindern. Die Größe dieses in den Kamin (5) od.dgl. unmittelbar abzuleitenden Abgas-Anteiles ist unter Berücksichtigung der jeweiligen örtlichen Verhältnisse von Fall zu Fall bestimmbar. Die Zufuhr ungekühlter Abgase kann über eine Umgehungsführung (9) erfolgen oder es kann die Wärmeaufnahmefähigkeit des Wärmetauschers (3) zielführend verringert werden.
