Two opposite housing sidewalls (8, 8') are constructed as rocker levers (3, 3') and hinged to the housing on both sides of the double rocker lever (2). Each rocker lever is connected by a coupler (4, 4') to one end of the double rocker lever. The articulation is particularly advantageously suitable for beds with multiple bed sections which can be adjusted synchronously by means of the articulation. <IMAGE>
