Abstract (en)
SF6 gas-insulated electrical switchgear with a rotating arc-extinguishing device, in which the arc column (I) occurring during the interruption forms between the axially moving contact (E1), which draws the arc, and the inner jacket of a conical ring of the fixed contact (A), which draws the arc, and thereby completes an extremely fast rotation about the axis, resulting in effective extinguishing of the arc. The fast rotation is essentially achieved by the arc column (I) in the vicinity of the centre of the length of an elongated excitation coil (C) being set approximately at right angles to the direction of the magnetic induction. The arc extinguishing effect is increased, particularly in the vicinity of the points where the current passes through zero, by a flux conductor (D) which surrounds the excitation coil (C) and is produced from ferromagnetic material. The contacts of the device are designed such that the current-conducting fixed contact insert (B1) and the current-conducting moving contact (E) switch virtually without any arc. <IMAGE>

SF6-gasisoliertes elektrisches Schaltgerät mit einer Rotations-Lichtbogenlöschvorrichtung, in welcher sich die während des Unterbrechens entstehende Lichtbogensäule (I) zwischen dem sich axial bewegenden lichtbogenziehenden beweglichen Kontakt (E1) und dem Innnenmantel eines kegelförmigen Ringes des lichtbogenziehenden feststehenden Kontaktes (A) ausbildet und dabei eine äußerst schnelle Rotation um die Achse vollführt, wodurch ein wirksames Auslöschen des Lichtbogens erfolgt. Die schnelle Rotation wird im wesentlichen dadurch erreicht, daß sich die Lichtbogensäule (I) in der Nähe der Mitte der Länge einer länglichen Erregerspule (C) annähernd senkrecht zu der Richtung der magnetischen Induktion einstellt. Die Lichtbogenlöschwirkung wird durch einen die Erregespule (C) umgebenden, aus ferromagnetischem Material gefertigten Flußleiter (D) insbesondere in der Nähe der Stromnulldurchgänge gesteigert. Die Kontakte der Vorrichtung sind derart ausgebildet, daß der stromleitende feststehende Kontakteinsatz (B1) und der stromleitende bewegliche Kontakt (E) praktisch lichtbogenfrei schalten
