[origin: EP0315766A2] The activation of a burglar alarm installation will also automatically lock those doors which have not been closed by means of the bolt. Conventional door locks will be used for this, without any appreciable changes being necessary. Built into the door frame is a locking electromagnet which, when the burglar alarm installation is activated, receives a pulse and thereby actuates a slide, thus ensuring an additional locking of the door. The opening of an even unlocked door is prevented until, when the burglar alarm installation is deactivated, a releasing electromagnet receives a pulse, with the result that the slide frees the door again.
