With dosing pumps there is the problem, particularly when dosing corrosive media, that air or gas will collect in the pump chamber thereby reducing the performance of the pump until manual venting is undertaken. This is particularly detrimental in the case of media giving off gas and when changing dosing agent vessels. It is intended to create a dosing pump with automatic intake on the one hand and automatic venting on the other. For this purpose it is proposed that a piston chamber (4) be provided between the actual pump chamber (3) and a return line (12), with a limiting element (14, 15) which is so pretensioned that, when the pump chamber (4) and the piston chamber (3) are connected for venting, the volume of the piston chamber (4) connected to the pump chamber (3) is enlarged. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei Dosierpumpen besteht insbesondere beim Dosieren von aggressiven Medien das Problem, daß sich Luft oder Gas in der Pumpkammer ansammelt und die Leistung der Pumpe dann abfällt, bis ein manuelles Entlüften vorgenommen wird. Das ist insbesondere bei ausgasenden Medien sowie beim Wechseln von Dosiermittelbehältern nachteilig. Es soll eine Dosierpumpe geschaffen werden, die einerseits selbstansaugend und andererseits selbstentlüftend ist. Zu diesem Zweck ist vorgesehen, daß zwischen dem eigentlichen Pumpenraum (3) und einer Rücklaufleitung (12) ein Kolbenraum (4) vorgesehen ist mit einem Begrenzungselement (14, 15), welches so vorgespannt ist, daß es beim Verbinden des Pumpenraumes (4) und des Kolbenraumes (3) zum Entlüften das Volumen des mit dem Pumpenraum (3) verbundenen Kolbenraumes (4) vergrößert.
