Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0316555A1] There is described a limiting detent 16 for the opening range of wings of windows, doors or the like, especially turn-and-tilt wings, interacting with the frame via a setting-out device. A setting-out arm 6a is mounted at one end merely pivotably, for example on the frame, whilst at its other end it engages via a sliding pin 14 pivotably displaceably into a long hole 13 of a sliding guide 11, for example on the wing. One end of the long hole 13 forms a detent 15 for the sliding pin 14, which limits the maximum opening range of the wing. To reduce the effective length of the long hole 13, the sliding guide 11 can be assigned a detent piece 17. This detent piece 17 is designed as a strip of flat material which can be slipped onto the outer surface of the sliding guide 11 and which engages, by means of at least two projections 18 and 19 projecting from its underside, in recesses 13 and 20 in the sliding guide 11 fixedly in terms of rotation and displacement and projects at least by means of a transverse edge 21 as a detent into the region of the long hole 13. <IMAGE>
