Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH01246096A] PURPOSE: To further shorten a cutting cycle by dividing the cutting pattern surface into areas coincident with the length of a cutting stand by considering a width of a belt-like material, partially cutting off a cutting piece reaching up to a succeeding area in a first area, and cutting off the complete cutting contour after sending the succeeding area. CONSTITUTION: The cutting pattern surface Sb is divided into areas S1 to S3 coincident with the length of a cutting stand by respectively considering a width of a belt-like material. Next, a cutting piece reaching up to a succeeding area is partially cut off in the first area 51 by a cutting means. As a result, the complete cutting contour is cut off after sending the succeeding area. A cutting piece is completely separated for the first time from the contour at passing time after sending the succeeding area or a partial area without being cut off in the first area. These cutting pieces are distributed on the belt-like material so that the cutting pattern surfaces M1 to M3 are juxtaposed on the individual areas S1 to S3 or between them without large cutting chips.
