[origin: EP0316872A2] In an alarm transmitter having a monitoring unit arranged on a movable glass pane or door to be monitored and having an alarm transmitter and a fixed distributor coupled inductively to the transmission unit in the desired position of the glass pane or door, which distributor is connected to a signalling central processing unit, the distributor has for the inductive coupling to an oscillatory circuit of the transmission unit its own oscillatory circuit which is connected in a first switch position to a first oscillator by means of a clock-controlled selection switch in order to operate as transmitter and is connected in a second switch position to a signal evaluation circuit for signals transmitted by the transmission unit in order to operate as receiver. As a result, an exact evaluation of the signalling state of the alarm transmitter is possible. <IMAGE>
