A nitrogen-containing additive for molten steel, based on calcium cyanamide, is in the form of a filled wire which consists of a metallic shell and fine particles of calcium cyanamide as filling material. This additive allows a defined and high nitrogen yield of 90 to 95%.

Es wird ein stickstoffhaltiges Zusatzmittel für Stahlschmelzen auf Basis von Kalkstickstoff beschrieben, welches in Form eines gefüllten Drahtes, bestehend aus einem metallischen Mantel und feinteiligem Kalkstickstoff als Füllmaterial, vorliegt. Dieses Zusatzmittel ermöglich ein definiertes und hohes Stickstoffausbringen von 90 bis 95 %.
