Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0317376A1] Process for the preparation of concentrated, high purity factor IX. The concentrate according to the invention is obtained by chromatographic treatment of a prepurified plasma fraction, combining especially anion exchange chromatography and chromatography on immobilised heparin. This concentrate can be employed for the treatment of haemophilia B. The preparative process according to the invention also makes it possible to obtain concentrates of alpha-antitrypsin, of protein C and S of factors II, VII and X, which are suitable for their therapeutic use. The process also makes it possible to recover albumin, immunoglobulins and antithrombin III.
