Abstract (en)
Structure and inexpensive construction method for a flat microwave antenna of the type intended in particular for direct terrestrial reception of televised satellite transmissions. The spacing between the power supply circuit and the earth planes is maintained, for the most part, by the very structure of the radiating slots. This objective is attained by providing for at least certain of the said radiating slots (20a, 20b) to be thick slots each having a wall (31a, 31b) substantially vertical over at least part of the periphery of the slot. <IMAGE>

Structure et procédé de fabrication bon marché pour une antenne plane hyperfréquences du type destiné notamment à la réception directe terrestre d'émissions télévisées par satellites. L'espacement entre le circuit d'alimentation et les plans de masse est maintenu, pour l'essentiel, par la structure même des fentes rayonnantes. Cet objectif est atteint en prévoyant qu'au moins certaines desdites fentes rayonnantes (20a, 20b) sont des fentes épaisses présentant chacune une paroi sensiblement verticale (31a, 31b) sur au moins une partie de la périphérie de la fente.
