Device which is adaptable to a hammer with a view to permitting the setting of nails or spikes without requiring them to be held at the start of the operation. This device consists in a fixing plate (2) equipped: a) with a yoke (7) provided with a clamping means (8> enabling the plate (2) to be fixed to the hammer; b) with a so-called "V" support (3) for receiving the nail or the spike (12), the said support (3) comprising means for holding the nail (12) in position; the plate (2)/support (3> assembly being provided with at least one element acting as a stop for the head of the nail or of the spike (12). <IMAGE>

Dispositif adaptable à un marteau en vue de permettre la mise en place de clous ou de pointes sans nécessité de les maintenir en début d'opération. Ce dispositif consiste en une platine de fixation (2) munie : a) d'un étrier (7) pourvu d'un moyen de serrage (8) permettant la fixation de la platine (2) au marteau ; b) d'un support (3) dit "en Vé" pour recevoir le clou ou la pointe (12), ledit support (3) comportant des moyens pour maintenir le clou (12) en position ; l'ensemble platine (2) - support (3) étant pourvu d'au moins un élément servant de butée à la tête du clou ou de la pointe (12).
