In a known coke oven door with a ceramic shield construction of a plurality of superposed front plates, these are mounted in steel frames which are joined via anchorages to the plates. A new shield construction is intended to avoid the inclusion of metal parts in the ceramic plates and to ensure easy exchange of individual plates. <??>On each ceramic front plate (2) grooves are provided, preferably on the upper and lower narrow sides, into which holding elements (11, 13) engage which are forced apart by a screw union (15) in order to clamp the front plates (2) in under pressure. <??>The envisaged shield construction with ceramic front plates, in which no metallic parts are enclosed, and with the envisaged fixing makes it possible to exchange the plates easily and can be used for any type of coke oven or similar applications after adjusting the dimensions. <IMAGE>

Bei einer bekannten Koksofentür mit keramischem Schildaufbau aus mehreren übereinander angeordneten Frontplatten sind die Frontplatten in Stahlrahmen gelagert, die über Verankerungen mit der Platte verbunden sind. Ein neuer Schildaufbau soll den Einschluß von Metallteilen in den keramischen Platten vermeiden und eine leichte Auswechselbarkeit einzelner Platten gewährleisten. An jeder keramischen Frontplatte (2) sind vorzugsweise an den oberen und unteren Schmalseiten Rillen angeordnet, in die Halterungselemente (11, 13) eingreifen, welche durch eine Schraubverbindung (15) auseinander gedrückt werden, um die Frontplatten (2) mit Druck einzuspannen. Der vorgesehene Schildaufbau mit keramischen Frontplatten, in die keine metallischen Teile eingeschlossen sind und mit der vorgesehenen Halterung schafft die Möglichkeit, die Platten leicht auszuwechseln und ist für jede Art Koksofen oder ähnliche Anwendungsfälle nach Anpassung der Abmessungen verwendbar.
