The invention relates to a method for the continuous preparation of plant stalks producing bast fibres, such as flax and hemp, involving particularly a ginning stage and a stripping stage, and to a preparation installation making it possible to carry out said method. According to the invention, a previously prepared sheet of stalks (25) driven in a continuous advancing movement (26) is stripped, said stalks being neither guided nor maintained, being placed at least in two layers and being arranged longitudinally in the direction of movement. For this, the installation comprises means (6) for the formation of a sheet (25) of stalks, located upstream of the stripping means, to form a continuously moving sheet of stalks (25), said stalks being arranged longitudinally in the direction of movement (26), parallel to one another and placed at least in two layers. <IMAGE>

L'invention est relative à un procédé de préparation en continu de tiges de végétaux produisant des fibres libériennes, telles que le lin, le chanvre, comprenant notamment une étape d'égrenage et une étape de teillage, ainsi qu'à une installation de préparation permettant la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé. Selon l'invention, on teille une nappe de tiges (25), préalablement préparée, animée d'un mouvement d'avance continue (26), lesdites tiges étant non guidées ni maintenues, placées au moins sur deux couches, et disposées longitudinalement selon le sens du mouvement. A ce sujet, l'installation comporte des moyens (6) de formation d'une nappe (25) de tiges, placés en amont des moyens de teillage pour former une nappe de tiges (25), en mouvement continu, lesdites tiges étant disposées longitudinalement selon le sens du mouvement (26), parallèles entre elles et placées au moins sur deux couches.
