Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0317764A2] On the rear shaft part (20) of a ski boot, in the upper end region, the holding element (30) is mounted displaceably transversely to the sole in arrow direction (B). To this end, there are provided on the holding element (30) slot-shaped recesses (50) which run in arrow direction (B) symmetrically in relation to the boot central plane and in which screws fixed to the rear shaft part (20) rest. Nuts (54) sit on the screws. In the centre of the holding element (30) a downwardly projecting tongue (40) is provided, on which a nut (54) is fixed, which interacts with a further screw, which rests in a further recess provided in the rear shaft part (20) and running in arrow direction (B). In the region of the recesses (50) and the tongue (40), there are provided on the holding element (30) and on the rear shaft part (20) toothings (46), the tooth profiles (48) of which run transversely to the sliding direction (B). By loosening the screws, the toothings (48) can be brought out of engagement, so that the holding element (30) can be adjusted in its height in relation to the rear shaft part (20) according to the base of the calf of the skier. By tightening the screws, the holding element (30) is again fixed to the rear shaft part (20). <IMAGE>
