[origin: EP0318070A1] In known detergent dispenser devices, water can be fed via a water guide channel to a drawer containing open chambers for detergent or the like. Each chamber is assigned a water guide channel. Guide walls can be arranged in these at a distance from one another, and a flow forming between the guide walls is deflected in the end region of the guide walls. Because of possible irregular flow segments, there is no guarantee of a uniform feeding of the chambers via flow-off orifices, and therefore residues of detergent can be left behind. A cross-sectional narrowing (74, 78) is formed between the guide walls (64, 66) and/or a part of the water guide channel (30, 30') adjacent to these in the direction of flow. Water can thereby be fed essentially uniformly to all the spray orifices (50). The chambers (8) can thus be fed uniformly in the way predeterminable by the arrangement of the spray orifices (50), and therefore, after dispensing, they are essentially free of residues of detergent. The detergent dispenser device is suitable for use in domestic washing machines or the like. <IMAGE>
