[origin: EP0318352A1] Lance for carbon dioxide snow intended, particularly, for making a molten metal inert. It comprises a pipe for supplying pressurised liquid carbon dioxide intended to be connected to a source for supplying pressurised liquid carbon dioxide, a T-shaped piece (1), one end of which is connected to the said pipe and the other two ends of which are connected, respectively, to at least one liquid carbon dioxide transportation line (31, 33; 32, 34) and to a controlled valve (151, 152), the exit orifices of the controlled valves (151, 152) being connected together by means of a V-shaped connection piece (35) which emerges in a discharge pipe (51, 56, 58) for the snow. <IMAGE>
