Sail furler, more particularly a mainsail furler, consisting of a tube (1) or similar profile rotating about its axis under the action of a control system (4), with which tube or profile the sail is made fast and about which it is furled, characterised in that the control system, consisting of a notched pulley (6), is housed in the foot of the mast (5) or beneath the foot of the mast. <??>The furler comprises, with a view to hoisting the sail, a halyard (9) passing, in the upper part of the furler tube, around a pulley (10) integrally connected to the tube and rotating therewith, this halyard passing through the tube and emerging from the furler via a pulley (11) integrally connected to a fixed part of the furler. <IMAGE>

Enrouleur de voile plus particulièrement enrouleur de grand-voile, constitué par un tube (1) ou profil analogue tournant autour de son axe sous l'action d'un système de commande (4) tube ou profil duquel la voile est rendue solidaire et autour duquel elle s'enroule, caractérisé en ce que le système de commande, constitué par une poulie crantée (6), est logé dans le pied de mât (5) ou sous le pied de mât. L'enrouleur comporte, en vue de l'étarquage de la voile, une drisse (9) passant dans la partie haute du tube enrouleur sur une poulie (10) solidaire du tube et tournant avec lui, cette drisse passant dans le tube et sortant de l'enrouleur par une poulie (11) solidaire d'une partie fixe de l'enrouleur.
