[origin: EP0318403A1] Process for continuous anodising of strips of aluminium or of one of its alloys. It consists in anodising the said strips travelling at a high speed in an electrolyte based on an inorganic acid containing at least one carboxyl and/or hydroxyl functional group, at least one radical of the vinyl, acrylic, maleic or fumaric type and at least one metal salt such as, for example, a trivalent chromium salt. It finds its application in the production of aluminium or aluminium alloy strips adhering firmly and durably to an organic coating and intended especially either for packaging or for construction, or else for the manufacture by adhesive bonding of structural components consisting of a number of metal substrates.
