[origin: WO8810491A1] An installation for reproducing data from an optical disc comprises a compact disc reader (1), a data communication terminal (4), an audio playback device (10), and an interface housing (24). The interface housing contains a microprocessor (19), electronic interfaces (17) and (21), and adaptor (7) for singles for visual display on a screen, and a switching device (8), the assembly being controlled by a control device (14) of the data communcation terminal. With the installation and the compact disc used with it, it is possible to reproduce in an addressable manner for example 1500 pages of 40 columns and 25 lines accompanied by a sound recording of 75 minutes from an audio-format compact disc.

L'installation comporte un lecteur de disques compacts (1), un terminal télé-informatique (4), un appareil de reproduction audio (10) et un boîtier interface (24). Ce dernier réunit un microprocesseur (19), des interfaces électroniques (17) et (21), un adaptateur (7) pour les signaux destinés à la visualitation par écran et un dispositif d'aiguillage (8), l'ensemble étant commandé à partir d'un dispositif de commande (14) du terminal télé-informatique. L'installation selon l'invention et le disque compact utilisable dans celle-ci permettent de reproduire de façon adressable par exemple 1500 pages à 40 colonnes et 25 lignes accompagnées d'un enregistrement sonore de 75 minutes à partir d'un disque compact format audio.
