Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0318700A2] The package for the sale and transport of a small article consists of a carrying part (1) and a transparent receiving part, which is held on the carrying part, for the small article which projects into a pouch (4) of the carrying part, which pouch is open upwards and is connected on three sides to the carrying part. Based on the above, a package is to be provided which allows, in addition to the possibility of effective viewing of the small article, a repeated removal of the receiving part from the carrying part and repeated removal of the small article from the package, it being possible for the small article firstly to remain and be viewed in the receiving part until its ultimate removal. This is achieved in that the receiving part (12) is formed from a front wall (16) and a rear wall (15), a curvature (23) for receiving the small article is provided only in the front wall (16), and the lower portion of the receiving part (12) has a removal opening (Ö) between the two walls (15, 16) and projects into the receiving pouch (4) of the carrying part (1), the upper portion of the receiving part (12) and of the carrying part (1) being connected by a repeatably detachable connection in a manner secure against longitudinal displacement relative to each other. <IMAGE>
