Die Erfindung betrifft einen verriegelbaren, elektrischen Steckverbinder mit einem Steckergehäuse mit Kammern für mehrere Steckkontaktelemente und einem Gegensteckergehäuse mit Kammern für mehrere Gegensteckkontaktelemente, sowie einer rastenden Verriegelungseinrichtung zur Verriegelung der beiden Gehäuse, die am Steckergehäuse Rastnasen und einen mit den Rastnasen zusammenwirkenden, U-förmigen, am Steckergehäuse gelagerten Federbügel sowie am Gegensteckergehäuse eine von den Rastnasen hintergreifbare Rastkante aufweist und die zum Entriegeln über eine auf den Federbügel wirkende Betätigungstaste verfügt, wobei der Federbügel (16) ein aus einem Blech gestanztes Blechstanzteil ist, das hochkant gelagert ist und einen Kipphebel (7) beaufschlagt, wobei an dem Kipphebel die Rastnasen (10) angeordnet sind.
