The invention relates to a primary suspension for railway vehicles, comprising two axle boxes per axle, each axle box being connected to the bogie chassis (5) by an articulation (4), a first spring (6) situated, with respect to the axis of the wheels, on the other side of the articulation, and a second spring (7) situated on the same side as the articulation, each spring (6, 7) bearing, at one end, directly on the chassis (5) and, at the other end, on an arm (2, 3) integral with the axle box, and constituting a substantially horizontal support, characterised in that the axis of the second spring (7) is offset with respect to the axis of the articulation. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne une suspension primaire pour véhicules ferroviaires, comprenant deux boîtes d'essieu par essieu, chaque boîte d'essieu étant reliée au châssis (5) de bogie par une articulation (4), un premier ressort (6) situé, par rapport à l'axe des roues, de l'autre côté de l'articulation, et un deuxième ressort (7) situé du même côté que l'articulation, chaque ressort (6,7) prenant appui, à une extrémité, directement sur le châssis (5), et à l'autre extrémité, sur un bras (2, 3) solidaire de la boîte d'essieu, et constituant un appui sensiblement horizontal, caractérisé en ce que l'axe du deuxième ressort (7) est décalé par rapport à l'axe de l'articulation.
