Abstract (en)
Electron gun for cathode ray tubes comprising in succession an electron source electrode or cathode (1), a control electrode or Wehnelt (2), a primary-acceleration electrode or anode brought to an adjustable voltage (3) and at least one focusing or secondary-acceleration electrode (4), in which, between the primary-acceleration electrode (3) and the focusing or secondary-acceleration electrode (4), there is inserted an additional electrode (30) which is brought, whilst operating, to a fixed polarising voltage (V30), this electrode forming with the anode electrode (3) a low-power electrostatic lens, and forming with the secondary-acceleration electrode (4) a high-power electrostatic lens. <??>Application to cathode ray tubes. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un canon à électrons pour tubes à rayons cathodiques comprenant successivement une électrode source d'électrons ou cathode (1), une électrode de commande ou Wehnelt (2), une électrode de première accélération ou anode portée à une tension réglable (3) et au moins une électrode de focalisation ou de deuxième accélération (4) dans lequel on insère entre l'électrode de première accélération (3) et l'électrode de focalisation ou de deuxième accélération (4), une électrode supplémentaire (30) qui est portée en fonctionnement à une tension de polarisation (V30) fixe, cette électrode formant avec l'électrode d'anode (3) une lentille électrostatique de faible puissance et formant avec l'électrode de deuxième accélération (4) une lentille électrostatique de forte puissance. Application aux tubes à rayons cathodiques.
