[origin: EP0319477A1] The control device for compensating the tension on the yarns (5) comprises a gear with a control rod (23), on which push-rods (21) engage with a separation, which rods are in work connection with the yarn brakes (8) or with groups of yarn brakes. The control rod (23) is moreover connected to at least two drive elements (24) which are individually drivable for changing the relative position of the control rod (23). The control rod (23) is preferably designed flexibly or articulatedly in such a manner that an irregular deflection is possible. This makes possible a non-linear reduction of the braking force between the first bobbin row (16) and the last bobbin row (17) of the bobbin creel (3). <IMAGE>
