Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH01212502A] PURPOSE: To make the foot be supported good in a heel area after that an opening part for insertion is shut, by making a pulling member cover an extended part arranged in the heel area, and assuring for the area to fit good into the heel. CONSTITUTION: Between the leg part 2 or the outer shell 3 of ski boots and an extended part 8 which covers a heel area, a flexible pulling member 9 is arranged. An end 10 of the pulling member 9 consisting of ropes is fixed by a hanging piece for closing 11 on the front-side of the boots, and a working part 12 is fixed on almost sawteeth-shaped parts 6 for other gripping metal- fittings 5. A second free end 14 of the pulling member 9 has threads and is interlocked with a spindle 15 fixed on the outer shell 3. Both free ends 10 and 14 are fixed at a different interval with each other from the boots' insole in relation to both sides of the vertical center of the boots 1. The hanging piece on the heel area or the extended part 8 covering the heel area is drawn without changing the adaptability as a whole in the front area of the foot.
