[origin: EP0319644A2] An alkylated amide derivative prepared by amide coupling of sulfur-containing amine and an unsaturated fatty acid with 4 to 18 carbon atoms, wherein the SH group of the sulfur-containing amine portion is alkylated by a group selected from an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl-alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an N-alkyl-piperidinyl-alkyl group, a piperidinyl-alkyl group, and an N,N-dialkylcarboxamide-alkyl group, which in form of pharmaceutical compositions has excellent activities against peptic ulcer in mammals and is useful for the making of an antiulcer agent.
