[origin: EP0319665A2] A container, which has a base plate, two end walls and a hood, is guided in the region of the base plate. The hood is constructed as a rigid part and is mounted so as to be positionable in relation to the base plate. The hood is mounted so as to be displaceable at least in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the base plate relative to the latter. The hood has a bearing which extends in the longitudinal direction of the base plate and has at least at one point of its longitudinal extension a degree of freedom in a vertical direction extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. At least one of the two end walls, as fixed end wall, is connected fixedly to the hood and detachably to the base plate. The end wall, connected fixedly to the hood, is sealed off by a seal in relation to the base plate. The seal is provided along a lower boundary bounding the fixed end wall in relation to the base plate.
